Action Alliance boils … As Uche Nwosu, party’s boss ‘fight’ over Buhari, Atiku

The Action Alliance (AA), may be heading for a fatal explosion soon as the war of words between its governorship candidate in Imo State, Uche Nwosu and the party’s National chairman escalates.
The bone of contention is the insistence of Uche Nwosu and his supporters to back President Buhari’s second term bid and the chairman’s refusal to accept the choice.
The chairman of the party Chief Kenneth Udeze told newsmen recently that the party had adopted the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atitu Abubakar as its candidate for the 2019 presidential election.
But Uche Nwosu, Gov. Rochas Okorocha’s son in-law would not want to hear that.
According to him AA members supports for Buhari was above party or religions perception.
Nwosu said “we members of AA have decided that President Buhari is our candidate for 2019 and we will vote for him as the next President of Nigeria.
This stand is quite unacceptable to Chief Udeze the AA National President.
In a statement in Owerri recently he warned Uche Nwosu and his group that “AA does not need an infraction in our party.  In fact there is no room for that”.
“It is our unshakable/unfailing resolve to work for the emergence of Atiku/Obi in the presidential election.  We must only be seen to be doing that but truly too he added”.
He further warned that the party will not restate to invoke the relevant sections of the party’s constitution to deal with erring members no matter how highly placed “as AA constitution which I swore to protect remains sacrosanct.  Please be warned”.
