AD denies alliance with AA

Following last week’s alleged adoption of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, the Imo State Gubernatorial hopeful of Action Alliance (AA) by 24 political parties which include Alliance for Democracy (AD) the leadership of AD has denied such adoption by the political party.
The State Chairman of the party’s congress/primary election, Chief Natt Anorue while addressing Journalists in Owerri, Imo State capital on Tuesday noted that Prof. C.C. Akuchie who claimed to be the state Chairman of the party though a member of AD, has no capacity or mandate to speak for the party.
All this his political move and statement are purely personal and should not be credited to AD as a political party.
Anorue who is popularly known as Okwuanasoanya said that the party has a front line gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Edwin Uche and therefore cannot give her support to any other governorship hopeful outside the party’s candidate.
He pointed out that their gubernatorial candidate-Dr. Uche has been campaigning and receiving overwhelming support from the masses of Imo State.
The party leader further enjoined the general public to disassociate herself from the statement of Prof. Akuchie whom he described as an impostor.
Okwuanasoanya also passionately advised Imo electorates to remain steadfast with AD as the only party that would guarantee them good, visionary and purposeful governance.
