The inauguration ceremony took place during a Eucharistic service at St. Mark’s Chapel Bishop’s Court Owerri. The service was presided over by the bishop.
Also inaugurated were the newly appointed Anglican Youth Fellowship (AYF) chaplains led by Rev. Gospel Iwuoha who will be assisted by two others.
In a brief homily, Bishop Oparah charged Christians to assist the ministry of God wherever they found themselves.
He called on them to exhibit cordial and friendly relationship with ministers of God.
The Bishop announced that the chapel will be moved from its present position and expanded to a larger capacity.
Highpoint of the service was the freewill donation towards the construction of the new Bishop’s Chapel
