Umahi warned to stay away from Buhari’s visit to Ebonyi

The Governorship candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Ebonyi State, Senator Sonni Ogbuoji, has warned Governor Dave Umahi to stay away from President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign visit to the State.
Ogbuoji advised thee Governor to play out the seriousness that should be accorded to electioneering.
According to a statement signed by Ogbuoji’s media aide, Ikenna Emewu and made available to newsmen in Abakaliki, he accused the Governor of attempting to use the rally to come close to the President
“I know your knack for politics of betrayal and I seriously suspect you want to use such opportunity to try coming closer to the president and beg to join and infiltrate the ranks of the party in the state. I won’t allow you execute such plot. Kindly remain where you are where PDP doesn’t even trust you and face your imminent defeat that is sure to come on March 2. And I thank you so much for your misdirected and false kindness”
The Governorship hopeful response is coming on the heels of recent comments credited to the State Governor who boasted that he would “loan” to the APC in the State 20,000 members of the PDP to swell the crowd that would receive President Buhari on Wednesday, January 30 in Abakaliki.
He described Umahi’s crowd as a virus the APC does not need.
Ogbuoji said “I, all politicians, the APC and even the PDP national leadership knows Umahi’s reputation for anti-party activities, and we don’t want such mole in our serious business.
