Invest at home … Imo businessmen urged

Businessmen and industrialists of Imo State extraction have been urged to bring home their investments.
The Managing Director of Access Bank and Hasal Microfinance Bank, Rogers Nwoke, made the clarion call in Owerri in his goodwill message at the commissioning of Empire Energy Company, recently.
Nwoke stated that the opening of the company which parades up to 100 fuel dispensing pumps as well as other facilities has proved that Imo investors can go beyond building hotels.
Speaking at the occasion, the chairman and managing Director of the company, Chief Ben Korie, said that he was proud of the people of Naze, hosts of the company, for accepting development, adding that the filling station is meant to serve all in terms of supply of petroleum products, spare parts production, among others, “at your doorsteps”.
Mr. Simeon Okeye, Executive Director Operations of the company, said that the company, adjudged the largest filling station complex around, would be able to sustain its 700 employees with the patronage of the people.
He pledged to give Imo State the best value for their money.
Present at the occasion were the traditional ruler of Naze, chairman of the Imo State council of Traditional Rulers, among others.
