Nnawuchi sworn-in as Imo AG

A new Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice has been appointed for Imo State.  He is Ndukwe Nnawuchi, SAN.
He was, last week, screened and confirmed by state by the State House of Assembly in line with the 1999 constitution.
This follows the approval of his appointment by the state Governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.  He has since been sworn-in as the new Imo Attorney-General.
Nnawuchi graduated from the University of Ife, Ile Ife, and now Obafemi Awolowo University.  His legal practice spans over three decades having been called to the Nigerian Bar  in 1984.  In 2012, he became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.  He is a member of International Bar Association, Commonwealth Bar Association and has served as external auditor and legal adviser to leading public and private bodies.
Nnawuchi, a Knight of St. Christopher, hails from Owerri Municipal L.G.A.
Also approved were the appointments of Pascal Madu as Chief Technical Adviser and Raymond Nkemdirim as Special Adviser on Security.
Pascal Madu obtained his LLB from the University of Lagos in 1985 and was called to bar in 1987.  He is a practicing domestic and international solicitor, advocate, certified negotiator and arbitrator.
Madu is a fellow, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) Nigeria Branch, member, International Bar Association and member of several domestic and international professional bodies.  He hails from Ahiazu Mbaise L.G.A.
Raymond Nkemdirim is an experienced security intelligence administrator who served the Nigerian nation for 35 year in the state security service (SSS).  In the course of his service, he attained the peak o his career, retiring meritoriously as Director of Operations, National Headquarters.
Nkemdirim holds LLB from the University of Abuja and B.Sc in Education and Sociology from the Imo State University, now Abia State University, Uturu.  He also holds a Certificate in Policy strategy and Leadership Course from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Jos.  He is a Fellow of the Security Institute (FSI) from the Institute of Security Studies Abuja and an alumnus of Havard Kennedy School, Boston, USA where he bagged a Certificate in National and International Security Studies.
Madu, a Member of the Federal Republic (MFR) hails from Isiukwuator L.G.A. of Abia State.
Their appointments were with immediate effect.
