ACFF Conference ends today at St. Stephen’s Orji with thanksgiving

The Eleventh Conference of the Anglican Christian Fathers Fellowship (ACFF) Diocese of Owerri, will today, be rounded off at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Orji, with a thanksgiving service and award of honours to deserving members and friends of the Diocese.
A pre-conference release by the ACFF Diocesan Coordinator, Sir Baldwin Onozie, stated that the theme of the conference was “Men as Instruments for Kingdom Expansion” (A call for Soul Winning  Matthew 28:19).
It kicked off on Thursday, June 27, with the arrival of the delegates and a formal opening of the conference conducted by the President and Bishop of Owerri, Rt. Rev. Chukwuma Oparah, Ph.D. JP.
While the Coordinator, Sir Onozie delivered his address on Thursday, the conference also featured the reading and adoption of last proceedings, as well as reports from the Archdeaconries.
Friday featured the usual health talk for the men, on the topic Prostrate Cancer and Erectile Dysfunction, in addition to a homily by a visiting bishop, Rt. Rev. Moses B. Tabwaye and praise and worship session.
Another seminar on Nutrition and Diet was held yesterday, Saturday, June 29.
At today’s thanksgiving service, there would be a reading of the draft communiqué from the conference and an Archdeaconry thanksgiving competition as well as awards while Bishop Tabwaye preaches the sermon.
