Ihedioha’s aide on pension matters assures retirees

Imo pensioners have been assured of the commitment of the state governor, Rt. Hon.Emeka lhedioha, to ensure that all pensioners received their pension as and when due.
The Chief Technical Adviser to the State Governor and Chairman State Pension Verification Committee, Bar. Paschal Madu gave the assurance during his inspection tour in Ahiazu Mbaise LGA to ascertain the progress of the Pension Verification and Biometric Data Capturing exercise in the area.
He charged  the LGA verification team to be humane and treat the retirees with honour and respect deserved and is addition work according to guidelines for a thorough and successful exercise,
Bar. Madu, accompanied by the state pension verification consultant said payment of pensioners would commence as soon as the exercise was concluded and beckoned on the retirees to be patient, pointing out that the aim was to correct all anomalies and build up a standard digital data bank for smooth sustainable payment of pensions.
The Chief Technical Adviser stated that the governor was deeply touch with the sufferings of the pensioners in the past eight years and was determined to put things right and give them a sigh of relief.
Meanwhile, the Chief Technical Adviser to the lmo State Governor, Bar. Paschal Madu his lauded Ahiazu Mbaise LGA Interim Management Committee (IMC) Chairman, Sir. Sam Ahiarakwe, for the speed with which the LG Council new secretariat complex was being constructed.
Bar. Madu who barred his mind while inspecting the level of work done on the project said he was impressed with the giant strides of the LG boss and extolled him for restoring the confidence of the people in polity and governance.
