2020 year of Divine fruitfulness – Bishop Oparah

By Emma Onumah

The year 2020 has been declared a year of Divine Fruitfulness.
Making the annual prophetic declaration on 31st December, last year, at a crossover service at the Christ’s (Anglican) Church, Owerri, the Lord Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Owerri, the Rt. Rev. Chukwuma Chinekezie Oparah Ph.D, JP, noted that, sequel to this year’s peculiar declaration, the nation, Nigeria, in no distant time, would be a celebrated nation, stating the fact that nothing is hard for God to do, if we, as Christians, have faith in Him.
He prophesied that this New Year, 2020, is a year God would raise Christians from the position of servitude to freedom and expansion, assuring all followers of Christ that the grace of God would locate them, if they sincerely worship Him, despite all odds and challenges facing them.
Bishop Oparah, who quoted extensively passages from Exodus Chapter 14, urged all people of God, not to be afraid as the Lord would not only fight for them this year, but also make them awesomely fruitful, if they will place their trust in Him.
As usual, the service that ushered in the New Year, was well attended by people from all denominations, including priests, Church workers, Knights and Ladies, who came from different homes and Churches in Owerri municipality and beyond, to sing praises with thanksgiving unto God, for sparing their lives till the end of the year 2019 and bringing them into the New Year, 2020.
