Church of Nigeria elects new Bishops, Archbishops at Ibru Centre Agbarha-otor

Bishops of the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, have elected new bishops and archbishops at their annual retreat held, recently at the Ibru Retreat Centre, Agbarha-otor, from Monday January 6 to Friday January 10.
The new bishops-elect are Rev. Canon Cletus Tambari for the Diocese of Gombe and Rev. Canon Benson Chukwunwike for the Diocese of Awgu Aninri.
The Bishops also elected the Bishop of Yola, Rt. Rev. Ibrahim Makus, as the Archbishop of Jos as well as the Bishop of Ughelli, Rt. Rev. Cyril Odutemu as Archbishop of Bendel.
Two Suffragans were elected for the Anglican Diocese of CANA West (CANA West).  They are the Ven. Dr. Scott Seely and the Ven. Celestine Ironna.
CANA West is a missionary diocese of the Church of Nigeria in America.
